INTERCHANGE MODIFICATION

The
interchange modification at I-70 and Post Road consisted
of the complete removal of existing pavement of both eastbound
and westbound lanes of the I-70 interchange from Post Road
to I-70 (approximately 1.7 miles), reconstruction and widening
of existing six (6) lanes to nine (9) lanes, removal and
reconstruction of all ramps, modification of interchange
geometry, construction of a new access loop, removal and
replacement of all lighting and signing, construction of
bridge abutments and wing walls, relocation of signal system,
upgrading/reconstruction of drainage facilities, site restoration,
and other incidental improvements.
